How in the heck did I miss this report? It was done by Tatoo media who surveyed 2,500 affiliates. I’m not sure how I missed this report, but I did. Like they say better late then never. I’m mentioning it now because I was kind of shocked by even being mentioned in it.

Turns out I showed up in 2 parts of the report. The first part is a little blurb in this section: “Where do you typically find industry news/advice/current events?” I was mentioned along with my favorite forum Wickedfire.com and my favorite blog in the world PPC.biz. That’s such an honor to be mentioned in the same sentence as those two sites. (Or is it?) I’m just kidding, those sites are very entertaining and Jon and Barman are great guys, (although I’ve never met them personally yet, I’ve read good things). Here’s the paragraph:

Then I was mentioned again in another section under: “Which affiliate industry blogs do you read most?” Now I think they’re kind of tying my members forum with the blog because I haven’t done much with this blog, (but always say I will do more). Anyhow, the report says I rank 4th behind my good buddy Jonathan Volk, a guy who I talked to on the phone about a business transaction that never came to fruition, however I have a feeling Shoemoney tools was either bourne of that conversation or shifted into full production afterwards, Shoemoney and another friend of mine Nicky Cakez. All 3 of those guys are a-ok in my books and I’m still a bit blown away to even be in the same category as them as I read their stuff all the time. Here’s the pic:

Again, I believe the members only forum is what affiliates are referring to in the survey, but who knows, maybe this blog is something that is read. I know it gets traffic, but never really made it my focus.

I’m not posting this to brag. That’s not my style. I’m not a guru or info product pitcher as all my members know. I’m just posting it because sometimes it’s nice to read about something you put your heart and soul into for over 3 years of your life. PPC Coach has been around a long time and will continue to be around for a long time to come. We’ve had thousands and thousands of members through our doors and we continue to grow and update our content as much as possible. I love the success stories that have come out of here and I don’t take credit for any of them. I just showed them the door, but they had to walk through it.

So, maybe I should take this as a hint and start adding more content to this blog. One thing I can guarantee is you will never see me post a picture of my newest car or my house or tell you that you can make $500,000 in 2 days without any work. That’s not how I roll. If you want to succeed, you are going to have to work your ass off to get there. I haven’t been to any summits or conferences ever in my lifetime, (again not my style although I know it would benefit my sites), but in speaking to everyone of my friends that goes, they tell me the same thing. The guys making big bucks are working their asses off to do it. That’s why that group, (who gets my respect), gets so annoyed with braggers or idiot gurus who make it look like it’s simple and all you need is to buy their latest magic pill to success. I totally understand where they’re coming from as it annoys me too.
